Linux Development for ARM
Hitex offers a comprehensive range of development tools software and hardware components to meet the needs of developers using ARM application processors or platform operating systems such as Linux and Google Android. If you are new to Linux we also provide training and consultancy services.
Development tools
Development Studio 5 : The complete end-to-end software development tool suite for ARM-powered Linux and Android™ platforms.
ARM DS-5 features an application and kernel space debugger with trace, system-wide performance analyzer, real-time system simulator, and compiler. These features are included in a customized, powerful and friendly Eclipse-based IDE. The tool suite makes it easy to develop and optimize Linux-based systems for ARM-powered systems, shortening development and testing cycles, and helping engineers to create resource-efficient software. For more information www.arm.com/ds5
DSTREAM High-Performance Debug and Trace
The DSTREAM™ high-performance debug and trace unit enables powerful software debug and optimization on any ARM processor-based hardware target. DSTREAM extends the functionality of RVI and RVT2 with faster memory download and trace capture, as well as wider support for physical debug and trace interfaces.
DSTREAM enables the connection of RVD, DS-5 Debugger and third party debuggers to ARM-based devices via JTAG or Serial-Wire Debug. DSTREAM uses FPGA acceleration to deliver high download speeds and fast stepping through code on single and multi-processor devices. For more information www.arm.com/dstream
We provide a great range of starterkits and modules suitable for embedded Linux. The starterkits can be used as an initial development platform and the modules are suitable for use in a final design. All come with a Linux BSP and are tested to work with DS-5 out of the box to see the full range click here
