DICOM
HCC’s DICOM client is developed to a verifiable software quality standard and can run on any embedded controller. HCC DICOM is specially designed for use in portable and handheld medical devices that need a DICOM client able to access both Storage and Modality Worklist Servers. The client has a small footprint and, since it is developed using verifiable processes, it can be deployed even in devices that require certification. The software is compliant with DICOM v3.0 and verified against industry standard validation servers such as DVTk. To complement DICOM’s portability, there is a narrow interface to a verifiably designed TCP/IP stack and a robust fail-safe file system, providing developers with a high quality, stable and reliable software platform.
