Hitex Development Tools announces comprehensive support for the recently introduced XMC4000 family from Infineon Technologies; this family is based on the Cortex™-M4 processor from ARM®. 
 
 The XMC4000 family supports three main trends for industrial applications: It helps to improve energy efficiency, supports a large number of communication standards and reduces software complexity during the development cycle. The target applications of the XMC4000 family include electric drives, solar inverters and the automation of manufacturing and buildings.
 
 With the MCU's now available, Hitex can provide a complete offering of development support tools. This comprises evaluation boards, consulting and training as well as compilers, debuggers, and software. This also ensures that Hitex customers benefit from the long-term cooperation with Keil/ARM, as  Keil tools are also distributed by Hitex.
