U CAN XC164CM Starter Kit is an application focused evaluation system for the XC164CM microcontroller.

As a real application example you will find a CAN analyser, enabling you to get physically connected to a CAN network, recording and sending CAN messages. The application software running on the microcontroller is available in source code. With a compiler (TASKING/KEIL) and a debugger (Hitex) modifications can be easily implemented.

Interfaces:

USB connector to access the microcontroller JTAG interface for OCDS-debugging.

Virtual COM port provided via USB Interface connected to serial interface ASC0 of XC164CM.

10pin (2x5) header for TwinCAN node A and B, three digital I/O, one analog Input, +5V and GND.

Components:

Three LEDs are used to notify serial communication (yellow), run-mode (green) and a free programmable red LED accessible from XC164CM.

Including:

USB-Stick ready to run with a preflashed CAN-Application to demonstrate CAN based on a simple CAN-Analyzer, which is also included.

CD-ROM with a full development environment consisting of a Compiler and Debugger restricted to the usage with U CAN.

Also included are example projects, training documentation and all technical documentation for the XC164CM (User manuals, Application notes).
