CME-11E9-EVBU MC68HC11 Low Cost Development System

The CME-11E9-EVBU is a low cost, entry level development package designed to provide similar features of the Motorola EVBU. The board provides MC68HC11E9 Single Chip and Expanded Mode operation with the Buffalo Monitor version 3.4 in the internal Eprom. Application development is quick and easy with the included DB9 serial cable, DOS and Win95/98 Utility Software, Wall-plug Power Supply, manuals and assembler / compiler. Small applications for Single Chip operation can be installed in the internal eeprom (512 Bytes, see CMD711EX for full support) and larger Expanded Bus operation applications can be installed in the external 8K Byte EEprom for dedicated operation. No prom programmer or special voltages required. Additional features provide 68HC711E9 Eprom programming capability, wireless prototype area, EVBU compatible I/O port connector, LCD module port (expanded bus), keypad port (I/O lines) and 32K byte static Ram for program debug or user data.

The CMD-711EX is a complete MC68HC11 development package for single-chip and expanded bus applications. The MC68HC24 Port Replacement Unit and on board Prom programming capability makes this board a valuable tool for developing single-chip applications for the MC68HC711E9/E20 devices. The included external EEprom and Sram memory can be used for applications that require more memory or bus operation. Assembly level debugging, with breakpoint and trace, is provided with the Motorola Buffalo Monitor. Standard features include 64KB Sram, 32KB EEprom, MC68HC11E1 microcontroller, 38 I/O lines, 5V regulator, RS232 serial port (DB9), Keypad and LCD ports and 8 user chip selects. The CMM-11E1 is a low cost, entry level development package. Development is quick and easy with the on board EEPROM, the optional DB9 cable and DOS based bootloader. The optional UTL11 disk contains Manuals, the Small C11 compiler and the S19 files for the Buffalo monitor. The on board EEPROM comes configured with the Buffalo Monitor. Basic 11 is not recommended for this board. For application code write code on a PC and using the menu driven bootloader, follow the simple bootload instruction, download, reset and run. No prom burner or special voltages required. Your code is safe and secure in nonvolatile memory.
