Our APL Field Switch enables the connection of standard Ethernet devices, such as Siemens controllers, to either PROFIBUS PA or Ethernet-APL devices, like the Endress + Hauser temperature sensor demonstrated in this video.
Our commModule APL is a game-changer, implementing a PROFINET device attached via Ethernet IP to a switch and controller. The PROFINET PA proxy allows direct access to the PROFIBUS PA device values from the PLC.
