sysWORXX next generation CANopen Chip CoC-100

Like its predecessor, the sysWORXX CANopen Chip F40, the new sysWORXX CANopen Chip CoC-100 is a fully operational plug-in module with pre-programmed CANopen firmware. The integrated standard DIP-40 connector forms the interface to the target hardware and makes the sysWORXX CANopen Chip CoC-100 a versatile communications interface.

With up to 7 I/O configurations, it provides a comprehensive selection of usable digital inputs and outputs, analog inputs and PWM outputs. The on-board configuration options allow a flexible module configuration. The sysWORXX CANopen Chip CoC-100 is a CANopen Slave Device according to the CANopen device profile CiA DSP 401 V3.1.0 and CANopen communication profile CiA 301 V4.2.0 (tested with the CiA Conformance Test Tool). LEDs show the device status according to CiA 303-3 V1.4.

sysWORXX CANopen Chip

The SYS TEC CANopen Chip is an insert-ready, highly cost-effective single board computer subassembly with latest CANopen firmware pre-programmed. A simple and cost effective DIP40 connector forms the interface to the target peripherals and transforms the CANopen chip into a versatile utilizable communications interface.

Up to seven IO configurations provide a proper variation of digital inputs and outputs, analog inputs as well as PWM outputs. The on-board hardware configuration units allow the module configuration on deployment time.

The CANopen ChipF40 implements a CANopen slave device according CANopen device profile 401 and CANopen communication profile 301 V4.02 (certified according to CiA conformance Test - CiA200002-301V30/11-013, Vendor 00 00003Fh). Two LED indicate the device state according to 303-3 V1.0.

In addition to the CANopen chip F40, there is also a CANopen μChip version. It offers the full CANopen functionality of a CiA 401 compliant device in a single-chip microcontroller solution. This CANopen single chip represents a ready-to-use CANopen slave, pre-programmed with the latest CANopen firmware.

sysWORXX USB-RS232 Interface

Additional RS232 interface for laptops and PCs, without IRQ or COM port conflicts. The USB to RS232 adapter is designed to make serial port expansion quick and simple. Connecting to a USB port on your computer or USB hub, the USB to RS232 adapter instantly add serial communication ports to your system.

By taking advantage of the USB bus, the USB to RS232 adapter makes it easier than ever to add serial ports and serial devices to your system with easy plug-and-play and hot-plug features.

Plugging the device to the USB port, the adapter is automatically detected. There are no IRQ & COM port conflicts since the port doesn‘t require any additional IRQ, DMA, or memory as resources on the system. Thereby, the USB to RS232 adapter works perfectly with KEIL µVision3.

CAN-Ethernet Gateway V2

Integration of CAN buses to existing Ethernet topology. Suitable as universal PC CAN interface and for coupling of CAN networks via Ethernet

The CAN-Ethernet Gateway enables the integration of CAN buses to existing Ethernet topology. Hence, it is suitable as universal PC CAN interface and for coupling of CAN networks via Ethernet. CAN messages are directly transferred on layer 2 level - independently from protocol. This allows for applying the CAN-Ethernet Gateway to high-layer protocols such as CANopen or DeviceNet. The access via Ethernet is possible over TCP and UDP.

The CAN-Ethernet Gateway is based on a high-performance ARM9 controller which provides for a high data throughput even if several CAN interfaces are simultaneously active. Using Linux as operating system enables the user to execute own programs in parallel to the Gateway application. In targeted answer to certain events, sophisticated filter and trigger mechanisms allow for directly calling user tasks on the Gateway.

Filters are easily configurable and ensure reasonable limitation of CAN messages to be transferred. Each CAN message is allocated a time stamp that assures time transparency for the message transfer. The Gateway is able to administer several Ethernet connections simultaneously. Thus, it is possible to create complex net structures.

The device configuration optionally takes place via Ethernet or via USB.

sysWORXX USB-CANmodul1

The USB-CANmodul1, is a small-sized and very cost-effective CAN-bus interface solution for connecting the CAN-bus to the PC via USB. CAN messages are tunneled transparently - thereby the module can support all kind of higher-layer CAN-based protocols, such as CANopen, SDS, DeviceNet or J1939.* Its fast yet low-power 32-bit CPU core with integrated message buffers ensures reliable communication even at high busload. Each received CAN message gets a precise time stamp derived from the module’s hardware timer.

The provided PC driver allows for easy plug&play installation and supports simultaneous operation of up to 64 USB-CANmodul devices on the same PC.

CAN Messages are tunneled transparently - therefore the module can support all kind of higher-layer CAN-based protocols, such as CANopen, SDS, DeviceNet or J1939.* Its new 32-bit CPU core ensures reliable communication even at high busload, and provides precise message time stamps.

The PC driver allows for easy plug&play installation and supports simultaneous operation of up to 64 USB-CANmodul2 on the same PC. This USB CAN Gateway allows a most comfortable, yet cost efficient way to transfer CAN-bus messages in distributed systems that require a centralized data collection, like used in automotive applications, research institutes or laboratories.

As all other versions of the SYS TEC USB CAN Gateway series, the USB-CANmodul8 can support all kind of higher-layer CAN-based protocols since CAN Messages are tunneled transparently, such as CANopen, SDS, DeviceNet or J1939.*
